We are a thriving garden nursery in Macclesfield, offering a dynamic and fast-paced working environment. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a versatile and forward-thinking individual to join our team in a Customer Service / Sales Role.
The Role
We are seeking a motivated and solution driven Customer Service / Sales Advisor to join our team at Cheshire Plants Ltd, a leading hedging and screening nursery. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, managing day-to-day administrative tasks, and supporting our sales efforts. This role is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction, product sales and facilitating smooth operations within our business.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond promptly to customer enquiries via phone and email.
* Identifying upselling opportunities for other products whilst on the phone to customers.
* Face to face showroom visits with potential customers to sell the products.
* Provide detailed information about our hedging and screening nursery products and services.
* Assist customers with their orders and address any concerns or issues.
Administrative Support:
* Manage daily administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and inventory management.
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
* Assist in preparing reports and documentation as needed.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in customer service and sales is essential.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Problem solving and solution driven character.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Knowledge of horticulture or gardening is a plus!
