Job - Customer Service Coordinator
Location - Birmingham
Salary - £32k
My client is looking for a Customer Services Coordinator to cover a 9 month maternity contract. You will be someone who can manage customer orders efficiently while providing excellent service and working closely with several internal departments.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing sales orders and maintaining accurate order records.
* Managing customer enquiries from order placement through to delivery.
* Keeping customers informed about order progress, delays, changes, or supply issues.
* Coordinating with Sales, Production, and Finance teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
* Resolving customer issues and providing clear feedback.
* Carrying out customer verification checks.
* Supporting general administrative tasks and project work when required.
Key Skills and Experience Required
* Strong customer service skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication
* Professional and friendly telephone manner
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
* Good organisational and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
* Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
* Proactive attitude and ability to take initiative
