Hourly rate: £13.89 per hour, increasing after 6 months to £14.67
Job Type: Full-time, ongoing temporary role
Hours: Monday to Friday

We're looking for a Customer Service & Connections Advisor to join a busy and supportive team in Cambuslang. This is a great opportunity for someone with customer service experience who is looking for a role where they can build their skills, gain valuable experience and develop their career.

You'll be one of the key points of contact for customers, helping with enquiries, answering questions and making sure customers receive a professional and helpful service.

What will you be doing?

Dealing with customer enquiries by phone, email and online
Providing clear and accurate information to customers
Investigating and resolving queries, making sure issues are followed through
Building positive relationships with customers and internal teams
Keeping customer records and systems up to date
Escalating more complex issues when required
Supporting new customer connections and onboarding
Working with colleagues to provide a smooth and efficient service
Looking for ways to improve the customer experience

What are we looking for?

We're interested in people who genuinely enjoy working with customers and solving problems.

You'll ideally have:

Previous experience in customer service, customer support, administration or a contact centre environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
A friendly, professional and confident approach
Good attention to detail and the ability to manage several tasks
The ability to stay calm and helpful when dealing with challenging queries
Good IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office and computer systems
A positive, team-focused attitudeYou don't need previous experience in the utilities or connections sector. Full training will be provided, so the most important thing is your attitude, communication skills and willingness to learn.
