A busy student accommodation site is looking for a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Reception / Customer Service Assistant to provide a welcoming presence and excellent support for residents.
Key Responsibilities
• Acting as the first point of contact for residents and visitors at the front desk
• Handling enquiries professionally via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring smooth shift handovers
• Assisting with resident queries, complaints, payments, and parcel deliveries
• Preparing and maintaining communal areas while supporting resident events and activities
• Responding appropriately to incidents and following all health and safety procedures
• Logging and monitoring maintenance requests, alongside general administrative duties
About You
• Previous experience in a busy customer service, reception, hospitality, hotel, or student accommodation environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident using Microsoft Office and other basic IT systems
• Calm, approachable, organised, and dependable
• A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to support wherever needed
