Our client, an established electrical services company based in Brentwood, is looking for a friendly, organised and customer-focused Customer Service Advisor to join their team. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering the chance to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.
Role and responsibilities
* Answering incoming calls and responding to customer enquiries
* Booking and arranging customer appointments
* Liaising with engineers and internal teams
* Updating customers on job progress and appointment times
* Handling customer queries and resolving issues professionally
* Taking accurate messages and ensuring information is passed to the relevant team
* Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate customer records
* Providing general administrative support where required
Requirements
* Previous customer service or administration experience
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A professional and friendly telephone manner
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
* The ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment
* Good IT skills and confidence using computer systems
