Description:

Our client is seeking a Customer Service Advisor for their Ashford office. You will be the primary customer point of contact for the business, taking inbound calls and dealing with customers who visit in person, handling all manner of customer queries, policy changes and claims processing.

This is a Monday to Friday, 9-5pm, role (35hrs per week), with an hour for lunch break. Salary is £19-22,000 per annum, dependent on experience, with benefits to include:

Annual company trips for staffDuties to include:

Review and advise customers on insurance requirements
Identify and initiate cross-selling opportunities/activities
Acquire and maintain knowledge of company products and product licences
Deal with insurance claims
Implement customer money collection
To comply with Compliance Manual, Claims Guide and local agency proceduresThis role involves extensive and ongoing training, so if you're looking for a career move, this is it! Insurance experience isn't necessary, but the ideal candidate will have:

Proven track record in delivering excellent customer service
Ability to build relationships through effective written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Good IT skills especially Microsoft Office and to use company systems
Able to manage own workload and able to work effectively under pressure
Willingness to learn new skills & able to problem solve
Hard working and great team player
6 GCSEs A-C (or equivalent) including English, Maths & Science
Own transport & full UK driving licenceFull training provided (may include additional travel and staying away from home in order to attend training courses). Potential to complete CII qualifications and may be occasional weekend work to support agency events.
