Customer Service Advisor - Housing/Repairs
Salary: £25,000
Contract: 6 Months
Start Date: Immediate

About the Role- Immediate start-6 Month contract

A brand-new, exciting opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Advisor with ideally a background in Housing and Repairs is required for this immediate start -this is initially a 6-month contract.

Join a small, dedicated team working with a registered provider of Social Housing in Newham, wholly owned by one of London's leading Boroughs. This role supports efforts to address the local housing shortage, with a mission to deliver homes at genuinely affordable levels.

Role Purpose
As the first point of contact for resident enquiries, you will handle calls and emails related to housing management, repairs, maintenance, and complaints. You will also support the management team with general customer service and administrative tasks related to repairs and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
" Handle incoming calls and emails, resolving enquiries or signposting residents to relevant information.
" Record all customer enquiries and repairs on our CRM system.
" Log maintenance enquiries with contractors and process invoices after work completion.
" Conduct post-repair satisfaction surveys with customers.
" Schedule appointments for prospective tenants to view available properties.
" Support the property management team with various administrative tasks as needed.
Role Competencies
" Experience in private sector housing or local government preferred.
" Exceptional customer service and listening skills.
" Proficiency in IT and excellent keyboard skills.
" Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
" Ability to prioritize workload and meet performance targets.
" Positive attitude with a customer-focused approach.
" Ability to work effectively in a team and performance-driven environment.
" Willingness to engage in ongoing training and development.
