Customer Service Advisor – Children's Services
Location: Lincoln City Centre
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Minimum 12 weeks
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, between 8:00am and 6:00pm
We are looking for Customer Service Advisors to join a busy Children's Services team, acting as the first point of contact for concerns relating to children and young people.
You will speak with members of the public and professionals including Police Officers, Health and Social Care professionals, and education staff. You will gather detailed and accurate information, ask appropriate questions, and ensure all relevant facts are recorded clearly and accurately before being passed to the relevant social care team.
This is a sensitive role where you may handle challenging or distressing calls. You will need to be resilient, compassionate, and able to remain calm and professional while demonstrating empathy and understanding.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and listening skills, strong attention to detail, good IT skills, and the ability to build rapport quickly over the telephone. You should also be confident asking appropriate probing questions and accurately recording information while speaking to callers.
