Hours: 37 Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
Pay rate: £14.36
Location: The Bluebell Centre Chelmsley Wood Solihull B37 5TN- office based
Contract: 3 months with review for extension
Job Overview:
Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of Solihull Council, for a Customer Service Advisor on a temporary basis to become a member of the Solihull Connect Customer Contact Service which handles a diverse range of enquiries, via face to face, incoming and outgoing telephone calls, emails, live chat and SMS.
Main Responsibilities:
To ensure effective handling of complex customer contacts, providing advice and guidance as necessary within the relevant Council service area such as Council Tax. Benefits, Social Services, Registrars and Environmental.
To communicate effectively with customers and take responsibility for keeping accurate and up to date records.
To work as part of a team to handle difficult or sensitive issues and customer complaints effectively.If you are a Customer Service professional with highly effective verbal and written communication skills we would love to hear from you!
