Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:45am - 17:00pm (30 hours)
Pay Rate: £12.18 per hour
Job Purpose:
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative in Macclesfield, to provide efficient and effective customer support over the telephone. This role is focused on resolving a wide range of customer enquiries at the first point of contact, ensuring a positive and seamless customer experience.
Principal Responsibilities:
Handle Customer Enquiries:
Receive and address customer enquiries and service requests via telephone, aiming to resolve as many issues as possible during the initial contact.
Maintain Customer Records:
Accurately update IT systems to log customer details and service requests, ensuring all records are current and precise.
Ensure Compliance:
Stay informed about relevant regulatory and legal standards to ensure compliance in all daily activities.
Manage Feedback:
Handle customer complaints, compliments, and suggestions following the council's established procedures.
Drive Efficiency and Improvement:
Contribute innovative ideas to enhance efficiency and improve customer-facing processes.
Support Organisational Objectives:
Understand and support the broader goals of Customer Services, including participation in campaigns like promoting self-service or direct debit payments.
Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with the team to provide coverage and support, ensuring continuous service delivery.
Additional Information:
The role may require performing tasks beyond the usual responsibilities to ensure effective service delivery
