We're recruiting for a Customer Service Administrator to join a large, well-established organisation in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys administration, problem-solving and delivering a high standard of customer service within a busy operational environment.

This is a predominantly administration-based role with occasional customer contact. You'll be responsible for handling customer requests, reviewing documentation, updating records and supporting a range of operational processes.
Following a comprehensive training programme, hybrid working will be available.

Key Responsibilities
* Processing customer requests and ensuring records are updated accurately and efficiently.
* Reviewing customer information and documentation to ensure all requirements have been met.
* Managing a variety of work queues, customer requests and shared inboxes.
* Communicating with customers where necessary to obtain information or provide updates.
* Taking ownership of queries from receipt through to resolution.
* Supporting the delivery of an excellent customer experience throughout the customer journey.
* Maintaining a high level of accuracy when handling data and sensitive information.
* Working within established policies, procedures and compliance frameworks.
* Identifying and escalating any potential issues or risks where appropriate.
* Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team objectives and service level agreements.

About You
We're looking for candidates who are motivated, organised and keen to learn.
You'll ideally have:
* Previous administration, customer service or contact centre experience.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Good organisational and time management skills.
* Confidence using multiple systems and managing a varied workload.
* A proactive and positive approach to work.

Desirable, but not essential:
* Experience working in a regulated environment.
* Previous experience within financial services, insurance or professional services.
* Experience handling customer documentation or verification processes.
* Exposure to risk, compliance or quality-checking activities.
What's On Offer?
* £16.00 per hour.
* 12-month temporary assignment.
* Potential opportunity for contract extension or permanent opportunities.
* Full training provided.
* Initial training period of approximately 4 to 8 weeks in the Glasgow office.
* Hybrid working available following successful completion of training, with 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.
* Supportive team environment with ongoing development opportunities.

This role would suit administrators, customer service professionals, operations assistants, claims handlers, coordinators and contact centre advisers looking to develop their experience within a professional and highly structured environment.

Search is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age
