Customer Service Administrator – Leading International Company

6 months FTC

Location: Selby, North Yorkshire

Salary: £23,700 + benefits

Our client is one of the UK’s leading scientific companies, providing laboratory analysis to the agriculture, food, and environmental sectors. We are excited to announce that due to business growth, we are supporting the company by recruiting a hands-on and process-driven Customer Service Administrator to join the team. The successful candidate will be fully trained, supported, and developed to reach their full potential.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to flourish in a fast-paced environment, someone with strong administration and customer service experience, and a willingness to work in a team-based customer service-focused company.

The Role:

* Ensuring that the phones are answered quickly, professionally, and efficiently.

* Responding in a professional and timely manner to e-mails and customer requests, which include the providing of analysis results, invoices, updating contact details and other general enquiries.

* The booking and tracking of couriers to collect samples from customers. Ensuring that the paperwork is correct and arranging for the return of sample boxes to various sites in the UK.

* Assisting with storage and collection of samples from the laboratory.

* Accurately inputting information from other companies to ensure the production of certificates.

* Creation of packs to be sent to customers for their return of samples to the laboratory for analysis.

* Working closely with the Customer Services Team Leader and the Accounts Department, submitting invoices, purchase orders and reports.

* Sorting and distributing incoming mail and the franking of external post.

* Greeting new and existing customers and building relationships to develop the business.

* Maintaining a clean and enjoyable working environment.

The Person:

* Previous experience in an operations or customer service-focused role

* Excellent attention to detail

* IT savvy, used to working with basic IT packages

* Works well as part of a team, as well as independently

* Process-driven and able to work confidently on health and safety protocols
