Description:

Customer Experience Advisor

Location: Colchester, Essex

Picture a job where no two days feel the same, where you’re talking to new people every day and your pay reflects how well you do. That’s what our client in Ipswich is offering their new Customer Experience Advisor, along with a route into management within six months.

Who you’ll be working with
Our client is an Ipswich-based business serving customers across Suffolk. Their team is close-knit and ambitious, and many of their current leaders started in exactly this role.

A typical day
You’ll start with a quick team catch-up to set goals for the day, then spend most of your time out with customers. That could mean helping someone understand their options, sorting out a query they’ve been stuck on, or simply making sure they feel looked after. By the end of the day, you’ll have spoken to dozens of people and know you’ve made a difference to each one.

Your responsibilities

* Be the first point of contact for customers and make them feel welcome

* Listen carefully to understand what each customer needs

* Recommend the right products or services and explain the benefits clearly

* Turn customer concerns into positive outcomes

* Log customer details and outcomes accurately

* Share what you’re hearing from customers to help the team improve

How your pay works
Your pay is performance-related, so your effort is directly reflected in what you earn. On-target earnings are £570 – £700 per week, and the more customers you help, the more you take home. Full training means you’ll know exactly how to hit your targets from the start.

Your first six months

* Month one: learning the ropes with full training and a buddy to support you

* Month three: handling customers confidently and building your earnings

* Month six: working towards a managerial position, leading by example and coaching newer team members

You’ll fit right in if you…

* Love meeting new people and can strike up a conversation easily

* Stay calm and solution-focused when things get busy

* Are motivated by being rewarded for your results

* Want a career with real progression, not just a job

* Have the right to work in the UK

You don’t need previous customer experience. Hospitality, retail, call centre work, team sport or volunteering all give you the skills to succeed here.

What’s in it for you

* Performance-related pay with OTE of £570 – £700 per week

* Full training and a dedicated buddy when you start

* Regular one-to-one coaching

* A clear route into management within six months

* A team that celebrates each other’s wins
