Description:

Customer Engagement Coordinator

Nottingham, Clifton

£29,539 - £34,613 per annum

Do you enjoy working with people and making a real difference in local communities? Are you confident building relationships, organising events and encouraging others to get involved? If so, we'd love to hear from you.

We're looking for a Customer Engagement Specialist to help ensure our customers have a genuine voice in shaping the services we provide. This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll spend time out in our communities, speaking with customers, organising events, and gathering valuable feedback that helps us improve what we do.

What you'll be doing

* Planning and delivering community events, engagement activities, and consultations.

* Building relationships with customers and encouraging them to get involved in shaping our services.

* Gathering feedback through surveys, focus groups, workshops, and other engagement methods.

* Analysing customer insight and presenting findings to help inform decision-making.

* Working with colleagues across the organisation to increase participation and ensure a broad range of customer voices are heard.

* Using community data and local knowledge to identify trends and target engagement opportunities.

* Supporting campaigns and initiatives on key issues affecting our customers and communities.

We're looking for someone with experience in a customer-facing role who is organised, proactive, and comfortable communicating with people from a wide range of backgrounds. You'll have strong interpersonal skills, an interest in community engagement, and the ability to collect and interpret customer feedback to help drive improvements.

A good understanding of social housing, customer involvement, and consultation methods is essential, along with knowledge of the Tenant Involvement and Empowerment Standard. You'll also need strong IT, literacy, and numeracy skills, a full driving licence, and access to a vehicle. Flexibility to attend occasional evening meetings is required.

Ideally, you'll hold a Chartered Institute of Housing Level 3 qualification (or equivalent), although we're also happy to hear from candidates who are willing to work towards this through continued professional development.

Why join us?

This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape services, strengthen communities, and ensure customers are at the heart of decision-making. You'll join a supportive team that values collaboration, fresh ideas, and making a positive difference.

NCHA is committed to being an inclusive employer and welcomes applications from all backgrounds. We particularly encourage applications from people from ethnic minority communities, LGBTQ+ communities, and women, who are currently underrepresented within our workforce
