£28,000–£30,000 + commission (£34,500–£36,500 OTE)

8am–5pm, Monday to Friday 25 days holiday

We’re recruiting for an Internal Account Manager to join a busy, customer‑focused sales office. This isn’t a telesales role — it’s about building relationships, introducing products, developing accounts and creating new opportunities through confident, proactive customer contact.

You’ll manage a portfolio of existing customers while identifying ways to grow sales, improve retention and promote new products and services.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and develop existing customer accounts

* Build strong customer relationships and increase retention

* Introduce new products and services to customers

* Manage quotations and follow up to convert sales

* Generate new opportunities through proactive customer contact

* Upsell and identify account development opportunities

* Respond promptly to incoming calls and emails

* Process sales orders accurately and efficiently

* Manage bespoke products and stock‑holding requirements

* Provide delivery updates and ETAs

* Manage the sales inbox and ensure enquiries are handled quickly

* Process and follow up new enquiries

* Complete and action daily reports

* Provide stock quotations and pricing information

* Support the External Sales team

* Maintain accurate customer records and reports

* Ensure high levels of accuracy and attention to detail

About You

* Experience in internal sales, account management or customer service

* Confident communicating with customers at all levels

* Commercially aware and proactive in spotting sales opportunities

* Strong relationship‑builder with excellent follow‑up skills

* Positive, customer‑focused and highly organised

* Accurate, reliable and able to manage a varied workload
