Description:
Temple are seeking a reliable and experienced CSCS Labourer to assist our client on a commercial site and other upcoming projects, in Corby, Northamptonshire.
Start: TBC
Duration: Up to 2 years work for the right candidate
Duties
* Assisting with general site clearance, loading, and unloading materials
* Supporting tradespeople with specialised tasks such as roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work, plastering, masonry, and carpentry
* Handling hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
* Preparing sites for construction activities, including setting up scaffolding or temporary structures
* Assisting with fabrication and assembly tasks according to schematics and technical drawings
* Maintaining a clean and organised work environment to adhere to health and safety standards
* Supporting site logistics by moving materials and equipment as needed
* Assisting with construction painting and other finishing tasks under supervision
Requirements
* Valid CSCS card is essential
* Basic understanding of construction-related skills such as handling hand tools, power tools, or working with schematics is desirable
* Knowledge of roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, plastering, fabrication, masonry, or carpentry is a plus
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Good organisational skills and attention to safety procedures
* Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various site requirements
* Physical fitness to perform manual labour throughout the working day
