CSCS Groundworker - Long-Term Opportunity on Major A417 "Missing Link" Project
Danny Sullivan Group is currently recruiting for an experienced CSCS Groundworker to join a major, long-term infrastructure project on the A417 "Missing Link" scheme in Gloucestershire.
This is a high-profile highways project delivering a new 3.5-mile dual carriageway connecting Gloucester and Cirencester, improving safety, reducing congestion, and enhancing regional connectivity.
Your Role as a CSCS Groundworker:
Carry out general groundworks and construction duties on site
Assist with excavation, drainage, foundations, kerbing and associated works
Prepare and level ground for construction activities
Install and maintain drainage systems and other underground services
Assist with concreting, shuttering and reinstatement works as required
Operate hand tools and small plant where suitably trained and authorised
Follow site drawings, instructions and method statements
Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment
Work effectively alongside other site operatives and trades
Report any hazards, defects or issues promptly
What We're Looking For as a CSCS Groundworker:
Valid CSCS Card (essential)
SEQOSH Safety Critical Medical preferred, or must be able to obtain one
Previous experience working as a Groundworker on construction or civil engineering projects
Experience in highways/infrastructure works preferred
Good understanding of health & safety on construction sites
Reliable, punctual and proactive attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good understanding of groundworks procedures and site practices
Own transport required due to site location/access
What You'll Get as a CSCS Groundworker:
£15.99 per hour (PAYE)
Overtime after 39 hours: £23.99 per hour (PAYE)
Weekly pay - reliable and on time
