Crown Court Litigator
Salary: £Competitive (DOE)

Our clients busy Criminal Department is inviting applications for the role of an enthusiastic and dedicated Crown Court Litigation Clerk. You will be part of an established Criminal team, where you will engage in high-calibre and high-volume Crown Court litigation work. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and experience within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a varied and challenging Crown Court litigation caseload.
* Participate in a rota to cover out-of-hours Police Station attendances during evenings, weekends, and bank holidays (separately remunerated).
* Liaise with clients, witnesses, and other legal professionals to ensure effective case management.
* Conduct legal research and stay updated on legal developments to support case preparation.
* Prepare legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, and appeals.
* Provide expert legal advice to clients, maintaining a high level of client care and confidentiality.
Skills:
* 2-3 years as a Crown Court Litigator.
* Able to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
* Police Station Accreditation (or commitment to undertake accreditation required).
* Current driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in legal research and case management software.
* Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work
