Description:
Premier Work Support are working with a specialist shipping company based in Basildon who are looking to recruit a permanent Cross Trade Co-ordinator.
As the Cross Trade Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for controlling and monitoring customer shipments originating in the Far East and shipping to various destinations around the world.
Duties include:
Data input of customer shipments
Processing documents received from their agents
Invoicing and daily liaison with our US office and the customers themselves.
Devising loading plans for their customer's cargoThis is a great opportunity for someone to develop with the aim of progressing to a more senior level with additional responsibilities and challenges.
Key attributes required include:
Minimum 3 years' experience in Freight Forwarding (Sea Freight)
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, and other MS programs.
Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience in Sales / Customer Service beneficial but not essential. Hours are: Monday to Friday 9am - 5.15pm
