Description:

This expanding Law firm based in Brighton/Hove/Worthing, East Sussex are looking to recruit a Criminal Duty Solicitor to join their expanding team. Candidates will need a pro-active approach and be client focused, with a flexible attitude to their work. The role will include court work and advocacy and advising clients at the police station. You will also be expected to optimise opportunities for developing client relationships and manage your own caseload efficiently as well as prioritising the workload of the support staff.
As a duty solicitor you will be part of the out of hours rota for attending police stations and of course supporting in the preparation for crown court when needed. The firm are also looking for those candidates who, if haven't already, are interested in obtaining the Higher Rights of Audience accreditation as this is something the firm would offer as an opportunity once your probationary period has been completed.
