TeacherActive is proud to be working with fantastic childrens residential home in Crewe to look for a Residential Support Worker / RSW. The homes support young people between the ages of 5-19, who have been diagnosed with Autism, Physical Difficulties, Learning Difficulties and Challenging behaviour
We are looking for a Residential Support Worker / RSW to work on a varied rota which the choice of Morning, Evening and Waking Night shifts. Our residential provider adopts an ethos that is child focused, while understanding that children will thrive when they feel safe and secure. A focus on providing consistency and continuity, ensuring at all times that children’s wishes are heard and respected.
The successful Residential Support Worker / RSW will have:
Experience of working to therapeutic models such as P.A.C.E
Level 3 Children and Young Peoples Workforce or the willingness to work towards this
Experience supporting young people with challenging behaviours or trauma
‘Can-do’ attitude
Flexibility with shifts
