Credit Risk Technology Business Analyst
Glasgow 

As a Barclays Credit Risk Technology Business Analyst, you will have an exciting chance to join Portfolio Change Delivery Team, who is responsible for technology change delivery. You will align to the business portfolios and deliver strategic change in support of RFT /Group objectives. You will  also have an opportunity to co-ordinate, plan and perform analysis tasks for your specialist applications and manage internal domain analysis for one or more components of a Programme.

What will you be doing?
•    Providing support to the Lead BA, helping to define analysis approach in line with the strategic vision of the programme and the preferred methodology of the organisation
•    Being responsible for articulating and presenting commercial effectiveness of requirement proposals within a project or initiative
•    Facing off to one or many business areas/SME's understanding high level requirements and challenging where necessary
•    Working independently to elicit, validate and document systems requirements in either BRDs or user/feature stories depending on the SDLC in use by the development teams. 
•    Participating in the Design process coordinated by the PM team, from Design approval to functional design completion – to ensure the functionality envisaged are delivered
•    Supporting the Testing Strategy and input into the coverage of Test scenarios and conditions ensuring all requirements in scope are tested
•    During testing, owning the resolution of defects pertaining to requirement and design working with test teams and SMEs
•    Collaborating with functional or business areas and SMEs to plan migrations of users and or transactions

What we’re looking for:
•    Previous experience in a related Financial Services discipline
•    Bachelor’s degree in  Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics or Scientific discipline from a top university
•    Risk domain knowledge and understanding – PD, LGD, Credit Risk & IFRS9
•    Experience working on Regulatory projects (e.g. Basel, IFRS9)

Skills that will help you in the role:
•    Experience in delivering projects using Agile methodology
•    Experience of working with Queries and Data Models
•    Ability to use own initiative to resolve issues/ investigate and find solutions
•    Regular and confident interaction with end-users and customers
