Role - Credit Risk Analyst

Location - Hybrid working with office based in Newport

Hours - Mon-Fri fulltime

They are now recruiting for a Credit Risk Analyst to join their team in Newport. As a Credit Risk Analyst, you will assist in the development of risk management processes, frameworks, and policies, and will analyse data to identify potential risk areas. You will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting on risk levels to senior management, and for recommending appropriate actions when necessary.

Role responsibilities;

Assist in the development of risk management processes, frameworks, and policies.
Conduct risk assessments to identify potential areas of risk.
Analyse data to support risk identification and assessment.
Monitor and report on risk levels to senior management.
Develop and maintain risk management documentation.
Develop risk mitigation strategies.
Stay up to date with industry best practices.Key skills required;

Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
Analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to code in SQL. A basic ability to code in SAS as well is preferable, with a willingness to learn Python a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with a keen eye on data visualisation using Tableau.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of risk management best practices.Benefits
