As an experienced Credit Lead, reporting into the Head of Credit, you will be based in Warwick 3 days a week with 2 days remote working flexibility, you’ll be responsible for:

*

Lead and managing a Credit Control team to minimise aged debt and achieve cash collection targets, line managing 3 Credit Control Team Leaders.

*

Business partner business unit sales, operations and leadership team stakeholders to advise on credit decisions, opportunities and risks.

*

Regularly reviewing credit facilities of customers within business unit identifying any opportunities or risks and amend credit limits accordingly. Appropriately manage the Risk profile in the business.

*

Maintaining close relationships with other members of the credit management team sharing information on risks and opportunities and actively seeking to share and implement best practice processes.

And here’s what we’d like you to have:

*

Strong credit control and credit risk management experience, ideally within mid to large organisation

*

Experience managing teams – ability to develop, motivate and support individuals

*

Knowledge of the credit market, effective driver and manager of change to processes, systems and structures, with previous process improvement and change management skills

*

Strong stakeholder management, relationship, and communication skills

*

Confident, resilient, with ability to think strategically
