A well-known and established company in Dundee is looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their close-knit team. Nicholas Hendry has partnered exclusively with them to fill this exciting vacancy.
In this role, you'll be a key player, managing a portfolio of accounts and ensuring timely payments and adherence to credit limits.
What you'll do:
* Proactively chase overdue balances via phone, email, and written communication.
* Maintain accurate records of customer details and account management processes within the ERP system.
* Handle customer queries and resolve issues efficiently.
* Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals and maintain positive customer relationships.
* Liaise with internal and external parties regarding account management.
* Assist with cash posting and allocation when required.
* Partner with the Financial Controller on bad debt provisions and credit control analysis.
* Support the Senior Accountant in monthly credit limit reviews.
* Contribute to ongoing improvements of credit control functions within the ERP system.
What you bring:
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* Ability to interpret Experian reports and company accounts.
