Temporary Credit Controller
Castleford | Fully onsite | Up to £35,000 (pro rata) | Immediate start
I’m working with an established business in Castleford that needs a hands-on Credit Controller to step in on a temporary basis and get the sales ledger back where it should be.
This is a busy seat with a clear goal. Cash collection has slipped recently, and they need someone who can get stuck in from day one, take ownership of the ledger and bring debtor days back down to their usual level.
What you’ll be doing:
Allocating bank receipts each morning
Phone-based chasing of overdue accounts in the afternoons
Resolving customer queries so payments aren’t held up
Keeping the ledger clean, up to date and moving in the right direction
What they’re looking for:
Solid credit control experience, ideally in a high-volume environment
Confident on the phone and comfortable having firm but friendly conversations about money
Sage 200 experience
Protean (or a similar hire system) would be useful but isn’t essential
Available immediately or at short notice
Able to work fully onsite in Castleford
