Description:
Job Title: Credit controller
Location: Ipswich
Desired Start Date: ASAP

Hours: 7.50/day Monday - Friday
Salary: £25,000 – £27,500
Role Overview:
Working in a fast paced environment, you will be responsible but not limited to overseeing the Sales Ledger and credit control function.
Key Responsibilities:
* Raising sales ledger invoices and upload to customer portals
* Issue customer/client statements
* Raising employee recharge invoices
* Reconciling customer/client accounts, liaising with them direct as necessary
* Chasing overdue invoices
* Setting up new customers and maintaining existing account details within the CRM and Accounting software
Other responsibilities as necessary:
* Bank reconciliations
* Process staff business expenses
* Process business credit card transactions
* Credit card reconciliations
* Match/process purchase invoices, reconciling to purchase orders on the business CRM system
* Sending monthly CIS statements to subcontractors
* Other ad hoc duties
Required Experience & Qualifications:
· An aptitude for IT – knowledge of software packages like Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PDF etc) and CRM Systems.
· Experience of Sage Line 50, Xero
· Experience of working within the Construction Industry and of the CIS scheme
· Previous experience in a similar role is essential
· Sage 50 Software
· Xero Software
· CRM Systems
