JOB OPPORTUNITY: CREDIT CONTROLLER ????????

???? Join our client's dynamic and vibrant team as a Credit Controller on a temporary basis for a minimum of three months. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your exceptional credit control skills and make a real impact on our client's finance department. There is an opportunity for this role to be extended and potentially become permanent. This is a great role for an experienced Credit Controller to work with an extremely reputable Global company in Slough. The role is hybrid, working three days in the office and two days remotely.

???????? Responsibilities ????????

Ensure accurate and timely issuance of invoices to intercompany and external customers, including updating customer portals if necessary.
Drive prompt payment of invoices by customers through effective dunning processes.
Chase overdue customer accounts for payment and maintain detailed records of communications.
Collaborate with management and sales teams to escalate non-payment issues.
Maintain customer 'stop' list and resolve customer disputes in a timely manner.
Provide insightful commentary on monthly aged debtor reports.
Review bank accounts for customer payments and allocate payments accurately.
Support the agreement of intercompany balances and ensure compliance with credit management policies.
Conduct credit limit reviews and obtain necessary documentation for withholding tax.
Clear blocked sales orders and perform ad-hoc assignments as required.

???????? Technical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities ????????

Minimum 5 years of credit control and Accounts Receivable experience in a large business.
Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel (v-lookup, pivot tables).
Strong numeracy skills and understanding of accounting principles.
Familiarity with VAT and knowledge of SAP preferred.
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
Strong relationship-building skills internally and externally.
