Job Description:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Credit Controller to join their finance team. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing the credit control processes, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, maintaining customer relationships, and promoting high levels of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Post payment receipts and allocate them in the accounting software.
Schedule Direct Debit payments and ensure timely processing.
Respond promptly to customer queries and collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve disputes.
Process new account applications
Collect outstanding debts through proactive telephone and email communications.
Maintain accurate records of customer collection activities.
Monitor and control aged debts, taking appropriate actions for resolution.
Generate and distribute monthly and weekly customer statements.
Maintain external customer stop lists and provide updates to relevant depots.
Core Requirements
2 Years of Credit Control experience
Excellent communication skills
Excel Skills - VLOOKUP & Pivot Tables
