Credit Controller Wanted!
Located in Oldbury
Monday to Friday
8:30am - 5pm (1 hour lunch)
Salary - £28,000
Temporary to Permanent
Are you a detail-oriented individual with a knack for numbers? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment? Look no further! We're currently seeking a Credit Controller to join our client's dynamic team in Oldbury.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage all aspects of the credit control process.
Chase outstanding payments via phone, email, and letter
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payments.
Proactively negotiate and set up payment plans.
Resolve customer queries and provide exceptional customer service.
Conduct credit checks on new and existing customers
Collaborate with other departments to resolve any credit-related issues.
Prepare regular reports on credit control activities.
Assist with month-end duties and provide support to the finance team.
Requirements:
Previous experience in credit control or a similar role
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite
Knowledge of credit risk assessment and credit management principles
