Hourly Rate: £13.00 - £15.00
Job Description:
Our client is looking for an accomplished Credit Controller to manage customer retention accounts and ensure timely payments of debt. The successful candidate will have a strong background in credit control, debt recovery, and reconciliation.
Responsibilities:
Contact customers to ensure timely payment of debts and resolve any issues causing delayed payments.
Collaborate with the Commercial and Production teams to address and resolve any issues that may impede collections activity based on agreed payment terms.
Coordinate with other departments as necessary, gathering supporting information.
Update internal systems and maintain accurate records.
Prepare aged debt reports for review by the wider Commercial, Operational, and Finance teams.
Adhere to appropriate credit management controls.
Handle any additional duties as assigned by the Head of Credit.Requirements:
Proven experience in credit control, debt recovery, and reconciliation.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with customers and internal stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address challenges related to debt collections.
Proficient in using internal systems and recording information accurately.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with various departments.
