As a Credit Control Clerk in Manchester, you will help keep the Accounting & Finance function organised by maintaining accurate customer account records and following up outstanding balances.

Description
Maintain accurate customer account information and update records as required.
Review outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments.
Contact customers by phone and email to discuss payment status and resolve queries.
Record customer conversations, payment promises and account updates clearly.
Allocate payments to the correct customer accounts to keep balances accurate.
Investigate account queries and work with relevant colleagues to resolve them.
Prepare clear information on outstanding balances for the Accounting & Finance team.
Help maintain an orderly credit control process throughout the temporary contract.Profile
A successful 'Credit Control Clerk' should have:
Experience of credit control and following up outstanding customer balances.
Confidence communicating with customers by phone and email.
Ability to maintain accurate records and update account information.
Experience resolving payment and account queries.
Good attention to detail when allocating payments and checking balances.
Ability to manage tasks in an organised way during a temporary assignment.Job Offer
