Commercial Services Group are looking for a confident individual with a strong work ethic and solid customer service skills. The Credit Control Apprentice will play a key role in driving improvements in cash collection by establishing strong relationships with the CRM teams and customers to in turn ensure timely cash collection and minimise risk exposure to bad debts.

The successful candidate will need to have excellent time management skills with the ability to work well under pressure and a strong attention to detail.

Key duties -

Maximise debt recovery and keep bad debt losses to a minimum, escalating the debt collection process in line with the business policy

Build strong customer relationships and deliver excellent customer service at all times

Deal with a variety of customer queries, ensuring that all enquires are handle in a professional and timely manner

Create and amend customer accounts in line with company policy and process

Raise customer refund requests

Place overdue client accounts on hold where necessary and arrange payment methods accordingly
What we need from you -

Competent use of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel and Outlook

Level 2 Qualification in both English and Mathematics

Ability to work well under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines

Strong communication skills both verbally and in written format with a confident telephone manner

Capability to work effectively as part of a team
