Working within a large accounting office, you will play a key role in all elements of credit control operations in addition to supporting with team management and leading from the front

Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week Duties include

Assist the department manager in leading the Credit Controllers and Assistants to ensure operational goals.
Lead from the front with all day to day processes whilst supporting others
Understanding all elements of process and supporting with driving innovation and best practice
Support management with recruitment, performance management and junior staff development
Manage / oversee Customer communications To ensure they are dealt with in a timely
Help to develop a culture and processes within the team to promote "right first-time" way of working
Liaise with other departments within the business to drive efficiency
Reviewing and assisting the manager to implement changes in policy and procedures.
support / oversee the monitoring of all active solicitor's cases to ensure sufficient progress is made and following up if required.
To be able to discuss & agree Settlement decisions based on approval levels.
To assist the Head of Credit Control with the planning and integration of acquired developments, portfolios, businesses, or other offices within the group as the business requires.
Involvement with IT to support innovation and new systems implementationsExperience required

Proven Credit Control experience within a B2C environment
Previous experience of training and supervising others would be an advantage
Career motivated and keen to progress
Detail orientated and keen to understand all processes and drive innovation
Local to the are or ability yo commute when needed in the office
Excellent customer service skills
