Creative Designer

Description:

We’re looking for a full-time creative designer to join a small but mighty team. Reporting to the Creative Manager, your role will be integral in building the brand, creating eye-catching artwork and using your boundless creativity to spread the business word. You’ll be working with all facets of a friendly company to create artwork to be proud of, acting as the shop window for a large retail firm both online and in-store.

* Working from briefs, you’ll craft fantastic designs for seasonal promotions to let the customer know the latest news & offers.

* You’ll be an ambassador, ensuring that all artwork is on-brand and recognisable as the home of family value that people know & love.

* As a photoshop wizard, you’ll be colour correcting, canvas expanding and creating cutter guides to an advanced level to build compelling designs, as well as repurposing imagery and applying clipping paths to photography for use across the website and POS.

* We’re always looking for new ways to help customers get stuff done. As creative designer, you’ll be one step ahead in making sure we’re prepared for the next campaign, but also able to think on your feet and deliver reactive asks when inspiration strikes!

What we’d like from you

* A minimum of 3 years’ experience in graphic design, preferably in a retail environment

* You’re a seasoned online shopper – you know what works & what doesn’t. You understand retail and marketing best practices and use that knowledge to make great artwork

* You know your way around a Mac like it’s an extension of your very being

* You can use Adobe Creative Suite to a legendary level

* You respect deadlines and can comfortably prioritise your work to make sure no one is left hanging

* A strong eye for detail – nothing gets past you!

* Location: Remote if not London-based (except for the odd day’s travel to London, every few weeks to meet team in person)

* If London-based, then the requirement is 2 days in office, 3 days at home.
