Creative Arts Teacher – Alternative Provision
Location: B1, Birmingham
Working Hours: 9:00am – 2:30pm
Planning Time: 40 minutes per day
Winner Education is currently recruiting for a passionate and engaging STEM Teacher to join an alternative provision in the Jewellry quarter area of Birmingham.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who enjoys delivering practical, engaging and creative lessons to pupils who may have struggled to thrive within mainstream education.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering STEM-based learning, encouraging curiosity, developing problem-solving skills and making education accessible and enjoyable for pupils with additional needs.
The Role:
Deliver engaging creative arts lessons across a range of abilities.
Plan and prepare creative, practical and differentiated learning activities.
Teaching and delivering engaging music, drama and Art lessons
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 2:30pm.
40 minutes allocated daily for planning and preparation.
Some lesson planning will be required as part of the role.
The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desireable but not essential.
Child related qualification or degree as HLTA or Unqualified Teacher Status
Confident delivering practical and engaging arts lessons.
Patient, resilient and adaptable.
Able to build positive relationships with pupils who may have experienced barriers to education.
Passionate about helping young people re-engage with learning.
