Crawler Crane Operator – Excellent Long-Term Permanent Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Crawler Crane Operator to join a growing manufacturing operation based in North Lincolnshire. This is a permanent opportunity offering long-term job security, a Monday to Friday working pattern, and an excellent benefits package.

The successful candidate will operate a Liebherr crawler crane with a lifting capacity of up to 200 tonnes, supporting planned lifting operations alongside wider site activities to support manufacturing and material-handling requirements.

With significant site expansion and continued business growth, this is an excellent opportunity for a Crawler Crane Operator seeking a stable, long-term position within an expanding operation.

The location is ideally suited to candidates commuting from Scunthorpe, Grimsby, Doncaster, Gainsborough, Immingham, Louth, and Hull, as well as the surrounding areas.

The Role
As a Crawler Crane Operator, your responsibilities will include:
Operating a Liebherr crawler crane with a lifting capacity of up to 200 tonnes.
Carrying out 1–5 lifts per day, depending on workload and operational requirements.
Undertaking lifting operations that are planned, allowing time for preparation and safe execution.
Following lifting plans, risk assessments, method statements and site health and safety procedures.
Supporting manufacturing operations through general site duties and material handling.
Loading and unloading wagons safely and efficiently.
Moving stock and materials to designated storage areas.
Completing daily crane inspections and reporting any defects or maintenance requirements.
Working closely with manufacturing, logistics and site teams to ensure operations run smoothly.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining crane operation with wider site responsibilities. While lifting activities are planned, flexibility is important to support manufacturing and logistics requirements as workloads change.

The Ideal Candidate
To be considered for this Crawler Crane Operator position, you will ideally have:
Previous experience operating crawler cranes.
Experience operating large cranes, ideally Liebherr machinery.
Relevant crane operator qualifications and a valid CPCS or NPORS card, as applicable.
A good understanding of lifting plans, safe systems of work and site safety procedures.
Experience working within a manufacturing, industrial, or heavy engineering environment.
The flexibility to undertake wider site duties, including loading, unloading, and stock movements.
A reliable, safety-conscious, and proactive approach to work.
Benefits Package
The successful Crawler Crane Operator will benefit from:
Permanent employment with long-term prospects.
Monday to Friday working hours.
4% employer pension contribution.
Annual leave, to be taken during scheduled company shutdowns at Easter, in the summer and over Christmas.
Subsidised canteen on site.
Cycle to Work Scheme.
Enhanced maternity and paternity leave.
All PPE provided.
Why Apply?
With continued site expansion and business growth, this opportunity offers excellent potential for longevity of work. It is ideally suited to a Crawler Crane Operator looking for a permanent position with a varied workload, a consistent weekday working pattern and the security of joining a growing operation.
