Job Description

Munnelly Support Services is looking for an experienced Crane Supervisor to start on a project in Newmarket.

The role will involve working alongside a Telehandler Driver and supervising lifting operations on site, ensuring all movements are carried out safely and in line with the lift plan and site procedures.

* Rate: £24.00 per hour – CIS/UTR

* Hours: 08:00–18:00 – 9.5 hours paid per day

* Location: Newmarket

* Start Date: Monday 24 August 2026

* Duration: Approx. 4 months

Duties

* Working alongside the Telehandler Driver during lifting operations

* Supervising and coordinating lifting activities on site

* Banking/signalling the telehandler where required

* Ensuring all lifts are carried out safely and in accordance with the lift plan

* Controlling lifting areas and maintaining safe exclusion zones

* Coordinating the movement and positioning of materials and loads

* Communicating clearly with the Telehandler Driver and site team

* Carrying out pre-lift checks and reporting any issues

* Ensuring all site health and safety procedures are followed

Requirements

* Valid CPCS or NPORS A62 Crane Supervisor qualification

* Valid Fit to Work medical

* Previous experience working as a Crane Supervisor

* Good understanding of lifting operations and site safety

* Experience working alongside plant operators and supervising lifts

* UTR number and eligible to work on a CIS basis

* Full PPE

* Must be available to start Monday 24 August 2026
