Description:
I am seeking an experienced Gantry Crane Operator for a 6 month contract position on a major construction/engineering Norlfok.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate gantry cranes to lift, move and position heavy materials and equipment.
* Carry out pre-use inspections and report any defects or safety concerns.
* Follow lifting plans, site procedures and health & safety requirements.
* Work closely with banksmen, slingers and site management to ensure safe lifting operations.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure equipment is operated within safe working limits.
Requirements:
* Valid and relevant CPCS/NPORS Gantry Crane Operator certification.
* Proven experience operating gantry cranes in a construction, infrastructure or industrial environment.
* Strong understanding of lifting operations and site safety.
* Good communication and ability to work as part of a lifting team.
* Relevant site safety qualifications such as CSCS where applicable.
