CPCS/NPORS Slinger (All Duties)

Description:

Teamforce Labour are currently looking for an experienced Slinger/Signaller – All Duties for a long-term position in Georgemas, Scotland, starting 29/09/2026.

Hours: 6:00am – 6:00pm, Monday to Friday
Duration: Long-term
Rate: Negotiable

Role & Responsibilities:

Carry out slinging and signalling duties for lifting operations across the site.
Safely attach, secure and release loads using the appropriate lifting accessories.
Direct crane operators using approved hand signals and radio communication.
Ensure loads are correctly balanced, secure and safe before lifting.
Work closely with the Crane/Lift Supervisor and crane operators.
Check lifting accessories before use and report any defects immediately.
Maintain safe exclusion zones during lifting operations.
Ensure lifting activities are carried out in accordance with lift plans, RAMS and site procedures.
Assist with general site duties when required.
Follow all site health & safety requirements at all times.Requirements:

Valid CPCS/NPORS Slinger/Signaller – All Duties qualification.
Previous experience working on construction, civils or infrastructure projects.
Good knowledge of safe lifting operations and procedures.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with crane operators and lifting teams.
Reliable and able to work 12-hour shifts.
