Short Term work available for candidates with correct cards/tickets who want to gain meaningful experience on one of the UK’s biggest construction projects
Assignment Details
* Employment Type: Full-time
* Payment Basis: PAYE
* Start Date: 11th December
* Assignment Duration: End of January
* Location: Huddersfield, HD1 5BB

Must Have
* CPCS Traffic Marshall Ticket, A73 required
* Full understanding of all aspects and responsibilities of a Traffic Marshall
* Experience in directing vehicles and plant machinery using various methods, hand and radio signals
* Good understanding of the English language
Role and Responsibilities
* Marshal vehicles and plant machinery safely
* Communicate clearly with drivers, plant operators and other site personnel
* Follow site traffic management plans and instructions
* Comply with all site health and safety procedures
Overtime
* Monday to Friday: After 18:00 = Time and a Third
* Nights: Time and a half
* Weekends: Time and a half
Health and Safety Risks
The successful candidate will be expected to promote and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring site rules and procedures are followed.
Key risks associated with the role include:
* Radio Communication – Use clear, accurate instructions
* Slips, Trips and Falls – Keep access routes clear of any potential hazards
* Moving Plant Vehicles – Maintain safe segregation and follow site traffic management protocols
All site-specific risks and control measures must be confirmed through the project RAMS, risk assessments and site induction.
