CPCS Crane / Lift Supervisor - £26.00 per Hour (CIS) - Abergavenny Project

Danny Sullivan Group is currently recruiting for an experienced CPCS Crane / Lift Supervisor to join a construction project in Abergavenny.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified and experienced lifting professional to join an established site team, overseeing safe and efficient lifting operations on a civil engineering project.

Pay Rates

£26.00 per hour (CIS) - Standard hours

£34.58 per hour (CIS) - Overtime after 10 hours

£39.00 per hour (CIS) - Weekend work

Your Role as a CPCS Crane / Lift Supervisor

Supervise and coordinate lifting operations in accordance with approved lifting plans and site procedures.

Ensure all lifting activities are carried out safely and in compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.

Brief and direct crane operators, slinger/signallers and lifting teams.

Monitor lifting operations to ensure safe systems of work are followed at all times.

Liaise with Appointed Persons, site management and other trades to coordinate lifting activities.

Ensure lifting equipment is suitable, certified and inspected before use.

Establish and maintain exclusion zones, managing lifting operations safely in challenging site conditions.

Conduct pre-lift briefings and ensure all personnel understand their roles and responsibilities.

Promote high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.

Report incidents, defects and unsafe practices immediately.

What We're Looking For

Valid CPCS Crane / Lift Supervisor card (essential).

Previous experience supervising lifting operations on construction or civil engineering projects.

Strong understanding of lifting plans, crane operations and lifting regulations.

Safety Critical Medical, or willingness to complete one if required.

Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.

Ability to coordinate lifting teams and work effectively alongside site management.

A reliable, professional and safety-focused approach.

What You'll Get

Competitive CIS pay rates of £26.00 per hour.

Overtime paid at £34.58 per hour after 10 hours.

Weekend rate of £39.00 per hour.
