The Role
As a Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for supervising classes in the absence of their usual teacher, ensuring students remain engaged and focused on the work provided.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supervising lessons across KS3 and KS4
Following lesson plans and school instructions
Maintaining strong classroom management and behaviour standards
Supporting students with their learning
Creating a positive and professional classroom environment
Working across a range of secondary schools in Tower Hamlets
Providing reliable and consistent support to schools
We Are Looking For
The ideal Cover Teacher will have:
Experience working with secondary-aged students
Strong classroom management skills
A confident and professional approach
Excellent communication skills
The ability to adapt quickly to different schools and situations
A reliable and flexible approach to work
