East London | Flexible Working | £150–£200 per day
Are you a passionate and adaptable teacher looking for flexible work in secondary schools across East London?
Principal Education is recruiting enthusiastic Cover Teachers to work on a daily supply basis across a wide network of outstanding and good secondary schools. Whether you're looking for part-time or full-time work, we can offer assignments to fit around your availability.
The Role
As a Cover Teacher, you will:
Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of secondary subjects.
Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
Manage behaviour in line with school policies.
Ensure students remain engaged and continue learning in the teacher's absence.
Adapt quickly to different schools and classroom settings.
What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
Experienced Cover Teachers and ECTs are encouraged to apply.
Strong classroom management skills.
Flexible, reliable and confident teaching across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is advantageous).
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
The right to work in the UK.
