Do you have experience as a Cover Supervisor? Are you confident in your ability to lead lessons?
LTF Recruitment are looking to appoint a cover supervisor for an inclusive and welcoming secondary school located in Nottingham, NG17. The role will involve providing cover support when teachers are absent/during PPA. The successful candidate will be flexible, motivated and have strong classroom management skills with an aim to make meaningful impact on students' lives. This role will be long term, with the opportunity for it to become permanent for the right person.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead classes under guidance and instructions set by the teacher
Communicate with the teacher, providing feedback and updates on student progression and behaviour
Maintain effective classroom management, ensuring that behaviour is in line with school expectations
Provide general support to students across the school
Be motivated and ambitious with a goal to support children to reach their full potential
Maintain professionalism by ensuring that the values and expectations of the school are metExperience/ Requirements:
A relevant degree or equivalent qualification
Previous experience within an education setting
A passion for supporting students to learn and develop
