Accelerate Teaching is excited to announce an excellent opportunity for an experienced Cover Supervisor to join a dynamic secondary school in Bradford. This role is set to commence in September 2024, and we are searching for a dedicated individual who is passionate about education and eager to make a positive impact on students' lives.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of education during teacher absences. You will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring a supportive learning environment. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver pre-set lessons across various subjects, ensuring a smooth and effective learning experience.
Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with the school's policies and procedures.
Provide support and guidance to students, helping them stay focused and engaged with their work.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting respect and collaboration.
Assist with administrative tasks as required, contributing to the overall efficiency of the school.The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar educational role.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different teaching environments.
