As a Cover Supervisor, you'll step into a pivotal role within our secondary school, providing essential support in maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of teachers. This dynamic position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience and make a positive impact on students' educational journey.
Cover Supervisor Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage classroom behaviour to ensure a positive and conducive learning environment.
Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and resources, maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of regular teachers.
Support students with their learning and understanding of the material covered, providing assistance as needed.
Uphold school policies and procedures, including those related to behaviour management and safeguarding.
Collaborate with teaching staff and senior leaders to ensure the smooth running of the school day.
Use your initiative and adaptability to handle any unforeseen challenges that may arise during the school day.Qualifications & Requirements:
University degree.
Preferred: Experience working with children (not essential) and safeguarding training.
Enhanced DBSThis is a contract position offering a competitive daily rate between £90-125, dependant on experience, providing an excellent opportunity for career development and professional growth in the education sector.
