We’re looking for a dedicated and confident Cover Supervisors to support secondarys school based in Newcastle and Northumberland. This role is perfect for graduates, aspiring teachers, or anyone with experience working with young people. 

About the Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

Deliver pre-prepared lessons to classes in the absence of the regular teacher
Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Support students with their learning and ensure work is completed
Provide feedback to teaching staff at the end of the lesson
No formal teaching qualification is required — just strong communication skills, confidence in leading a classroom, and the ability to build rapport with students. 

What We’re Looking For

UK experience working with young people (schools, tutoring, coaching, youth work, etc.)
Strong classroom presence and good behaviour management
Level 3 qualification or higher
A positive, proactive attitude
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Commitment to supporting students' learning and wellbeing
