Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisor to work within a secondary school in Daventry.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people, has strong classroom management skills and is confident leading lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
The Role:
Supervising classes of secondary-aged pupils during teacher absence.
Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials and ensuring pupils remain on task.
Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Supporting pupils with their learning and answering questions where appropriate.
Following school policies and providing feedback to teaching staff.
The Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils.
Confident managing classroom behaviour and maintaining discipline.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to use their initiative and adapt to different classroom environments.
Reliable, organised and enthusiastic about supporting young people.
