Are you a recent graduate looking to gain some classroom experience to further develop your career? Do you already have experience working with children outside the classroom as a Coach or a tutor?
Look no further, Academics are actively seeking passionate and enthusiastic cover supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in the Wakefield area from September 2026.
Responsibilities of cover supervisor:
Covering a range of subjects to students across KS3 and KS4
Managing behaviour and ensuring that the students are reaching their full potential.
Ensure safety of the students and report any concerns to the safeguarding lead.
Display great organisational skills and make sure the lessons run smoothly.
Requirements for a cover supervisor:
Bachelor's degree
Excellent communication skills
Right to work in the UK
Strong behaviour management with the ability to control a classroom
